You may recognize Ashley and Dan from images of their engagement session a few posts back. On June 18th, 2011 they had a wonderful wedding in Mason City, Iowa. There were two especially good things about their wedding. One, at some point during the wedding day planning I mentioned how I wanted to cover a wedding from start to finish. From the ladies getting ready in the morning at the hair salon to the dancing at the reception party. Ashley and Dan liked my idea, so this trained photojournalist had permission to cover the WHOLE wedding. Oh I did.
I started 24 hours before the wedding at the ceremony rehearsal.

If you made it this far you may ask what was the Second great thing about this wedding? The people. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to me. I had only seen some of these people once or twice before. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel like I was at home and it was only the second time I had been there.
