Being a professional photographer, I receive emails asking for price quotes for my services all the time. Some jobs I take for fun, many for profit and some because it is for a good cause. A lot of work comes from wedding photography. I love customizing my service to meet each couples needs. Shoot at the Iowa State Fair? Cool. Spend all day with the wedding couple? Not a problem.

I do have to sift through my inbox to respond to clients. I found this gem of an email recently. It made its way through my spam filter to my normal inbox. Nothing has been edited or changed.

How are you doing and how is your work,hope everything fine. are will like you to be my one of our wedding Vendor.for the upcoming my daughter wedding that his going to be held in your area and most important from you let me know where you located and your fees and your packages because my company is going to take care of any vendor that will be in the event.The total budget for the wedding will be take care from my company including your charges. and i want to let you know that my company will be responsible for the payment of the wedding as they have promised to send the payment to you by check to make things easy for us,They have agree to send the payment by carrier service,And my carrier service his going to deliver the wedding invitation card to your place. but don’t border your self my company is going to cater for your any expenses.And will are still look for the venue and location.And am out of town now for the shopping for my wedding daughter.
1……mini-wedding of about 50 invites
2……the wedding start by 11a.m stop by 4pm
3……the wedding will be indoor.
4…….just 4 hours wedding party.
5……And the date of wedding is 28th of April, 2012

2011 Des Moines Zombie Walk!

On October 1st, 2011 The Des Moines Zombie Walk took over downtown. I would like to thank Dallas Moore for his assistance. Please check out the whole gallery here. All proceeds from Zombie Walk purchases will be donated to the The Central Iowa Services Shelter.

Ellie and Shawn had a great wedding in Storm Lake, Iowa. One of my favorite things about photography is the travel. I had never been to Storm Lake before and I am very glad I was able to visit.
