Though clients of clients of clients I met Melinda and Rusty. I had a wonderful time photographing their wedding at hotelVetro, in Iowa City. It was a super rainy weekend and the wedding had been set up to take place on the patio. That was not going to happen and the staff quickly set things up inside the hotel. Even with the rain it was beautiful day for a wedding.
Melinda and Rusty, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.
Here are just a few images from Whitney and Marty’s wonderful wedding in Ames, Iowa. The original plan was to have the wedding outside. A few weeks before the wedding one of Whitney’s friends called her and explained she had a bad feeling it was going to rain on the wedding day. It turns out she was right, but they had planned ahead and has already moved the entire wedding into Hickory Hall in Ames. Everything worked out nicely.
Thank you for having me be a part of your special day!
I am sorry about my lack of blogging and updates, but I promise I have been busy. In August 2013 my family and I moved to a new location in Des Moines, Iowa. Not only do we have a great house but I not a have a very nice 1900 square foot studio. I also now have 8.5 acres of land for photography too. Here are a few photos of the studio and the land. Please contact me to have your photos done at my new location.
